George Farmer, holds the record of the most goals in one match scoring 8 times, however Jack Southworth holds the record for Everton since professional football started in 1888. Scoring 6 goals against West Bromich at Goodison Park. A. Mckinnon scores the first ever hatrick against Derby County in league football in 1888-89 season at Anfield, and T.Wylie scored the first away hatrick also against Derby County. Jack Bell was the first player to score a hat-trick in three different positions at centre forward, outside left and inside right. Hatricks on debut, F. Oliver, Fred Pickering & Tony Cottee. Roy Vernon holds the strange record of scoring three hat-tricks and all his hat-tricks came in the last home game for three different seasons. The quickest hat-trick was scored by Robert Irvine scoring three goals in the 62nd, 63rd & 67th minute against Aston Villa in January 21st 1922 after being 2-0 down.
