Everton's first ever season in Division Two, Resulted in promotion at the first time of asking as champions and Everton were known as the goal machine and the mudlarks for the reasons of Everton scoring 121 goals in the league and winning most of there games at Goodison when the ground was ankle deep in mud and some papers named Everton the mudlarks as they couldnt win when the ground was hard, another note of this season was Everton won most of the games scoring late during the matches.
